Note: For easier installation, instead of using the supply hose coming from the faucet, consider buying a flexible stainless steel supply. These are more reliable and lasts for years.

Step two: Turn off the taps and hoses Supply

It is prudent to always wear eye protection when working on home remodeling projects.

under the sink: turn the handles of the two shut-off valve clockwise as you can. If no shut-off valves, or if they can not turn on, turn off the water where it comes into the house.
Turn on the faucets to drain water from the hose. Use pipe wrench to remove copper pipes from the exhaust pipe under every tap.

Use the Save key to unscrew the nuts under the existing faucets and spout - if you are stuck nuts, use a penetrating oil to loosen them. Lift the faucets and spout, and then use a putty knife to scrape off any plumber's putty or caulk from the top of the sink.

Step three: Install new drip edge and tap

, follow the instructions that came with the faucet. They provide details for installing the spout and handles. The following are general guidelines.

Insert the faucets and spout above the sink, using plumbers putty or silicone to seal them to the surface, if they do not have a sealing gasket.

under the sink, loosely install the seals, washers, nuts and other hardware for flush and faucets. Align them over the sink and then tighten them securely.

Step four: Installation of Supply Pipe

Use two wrenches to attach hoses to faucets (two-valve plug) adapter or connector (for a throttle valve): one to hold the copper pipe so as not to break off the faucet, and the other to tighten the nut.

Place a bucket under the sink to catch leaks. Remove the aerator from the end of the groove - if you can not unscrew it by hand, wrap a rag around it and turn with an adjustable wrench. Open water shutoffs and turn on the tap for several minutes to clear out any debris. Replace the aerator.

Step Five: Remove the old Drain Assembly

Under the sink, attach the drain body flange, and then use the pipe key to strengthening the lock nut to secure the connection. Make sure the belt is firmly seated in the drain and remove excess sealant.

Step Seven: Install the cap

Drop the lift rod through the hole in the faucet, and then under the sink, attach it to a belt lift rod (plastic or metal bands with lots of holes along its length) with thumb screws or other hardware that comes with the faucet.
Above the sink, put the drain plug. Under the sink, insert the plug controls the horizontal rod through the hole in the side of the drain body and then into the hole at the bottom of the plugin.

Thread the end of the control rod through a hole in the spring clip through a hole in the belt lift rod, and then through a second opening in the spring clip.
